Health Officer Job Main Purpose

• To render quality occupational health services and holistic health care to all Unilever Kenya Limited employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Occupational Heath surveillance for Foods, Welfare block, site and Warehouse and
• Provide primary health care.
• Ensure monthly medical records and reports.
• Ensure Food handlers compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
• Participate in the rollout of ART policy by monitoring VCT programs.
• Management of sick off and return to work procedure.
• Carry out Entry, Annual, Exit and inter departmental medical examinations for the employees.
• Implement the OH site work plan & deliver KPIs.
• Ensure OH surveillance – foods, warehouse, Canteen and general site areas.
• Participate in OH and HIV/AIDs Education and Training Calendar.
• Ensure surveillance reports for Foods, Welfare Block, Warehouse and general site areas.
• Ensure daily primary health care records.
• Ensure site vitality & healthcare programs – wellness, VCT, nutrition, etc.

Key Skills and Qualifications for Health Officer Jobs in Kenya

• Diploma in Nursing
• Certificate in Counselling, Occupational Health and Computer packages
• Years of ‘Experience: 3-5years
• High levels of drive and proactivity
• Effective communication and Influencing Skills
