Responsibilities

Languages

Provisions of non-partisan professional research assistance and analysis to members, committees and staff of the assembly
Assessing the strength and weakness of policy actions
Provisions of the expert explanations and analysis of policy documents
Ensuring quality control in the preparation of notes and particular points of view
Providing technical back up to the county assembly committees
Maintains a periodic update of inventory of publications and current issues publications and major public policy issues
Requirement for appointments
Be a holder of bachelor degree from recognized university in specialized discipline finance
Served as a research officer or in an equivalent position in either the public or private sector for at least 5 years
Possesses thorough knowledge and understanding of concepts and techniques of professional research with particular emphasis on public policy analysis
Ability to write reports in clear, concise and understandable manner
Have 3 years continues work experience
Satisfactorily served as a research officer in similar position with comparable responsibilities in reputable research institution or organization.

Samsung unveils digital TV
With the
digital migration deadline coming so close many people are bidding the best TV programs
